Band conveyor is also named as belt conveyor. Band conveyor made by Zhengzhou General Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. has characteristics of high speed and smooth running, long delivery distance, programmable control, automatic operation, uphill and downhill transmission, easy maintenance and low noise, so that it can economically and effectively convey materials.

The conveyor needs low driving force consumption because there hardly is relative motion between materials and belt leading to little running resistance, little abrasion of belt and high production capacity, which are all good to production cost reduction. Besides, the conveyor has reliable running which can works continuously in many major unites.
Conveyor line has strong adaptation and flexibility. Its line length can be adjusted according to actual conditions ranging from several meters to over 10km; it can be installed in small tunnel or above danger area or area with complex traffic. According to requirements of process flow, band conveyor can receive materials from one point or several points and also can discharge materials at one or more points. |

Band conveyor can works at roadway under the coal pile in coal storage yard and when necessary, it can mix different material piles, and materials can be simply discharged from conveyor head. |

Band conveyor is composed of frame, belt, belt roller, tension device and transmission device, etc. Its body is made of high-quality steal plate and the frame is formed by front and rear legs with different height and its plane inclines at a certain angle; there is belt roller and carrier roller for belt’s driving and supporting. The band conveyor has two driving method, geared motor driving and electrical roller driving.
According to transmission process requirement, the conveying system can be one belt conveyor or several belt conveyors and belt conveyor can also group with other transmission devices forming horizontal or oblique conveying system to meet various distribution needs. Band conveyor can work within an ambient temperature range of -20 deg.c to 40 deg.c and deliver materials whose temperature is under 50 deg.c. When the belt conveyor is working, the belt is around transmission roller and tensioning roller forming endless belt; the uphill and downhill belts are supported by carrier roller to limit the belt’s curve sag and tensioning roller provides needed tension for belt’s normal working; the driving device drives the transmission roller which drives the transmission roller by friction and materials on belt are conveyed along with the belt. |
